Our energy packages are 'Pay for What You Use', and are not unlimited. This means that the cost can fluctuate depending on your actual usage. It also means you only pay for what you use and you get refunds at the end of the tenancy - by contrast, Unlimited packages charge you for an amount of energy you may not entirely use, and you dont get refunds for under-using.

The price of the package is based on an estimate for the amount of energy that we believe that a house of your size will use over the course of a year. Your actual usage is then tracked against this estimate by requesting monthly meter readings (which you will upload into your dashboard on Resooma). The estimates are based on previous data that we (and our suppliers have) and also on the guidance figures provided by OFGEM (the energy regulator).

The tariff that you would sign up to is however a “Fixed Tariff” - meaning fixed unit rate, a contrast to SVT (Standard Variable Tariff) which is liable to change under OFGEM.

The Fixed Tariff means that the cost of each unit of gas and electric will not change over the course of the tenancy. It also means that any over usage will be billed at the raw unit cost and likewise if you are to under use against your estimate then we will refund the difference at the end of the tenancy 😊

❗️Please always submit your meter readings, where meter readings are not submitted you are liable to be billed on estimates which may well be higher than what you use.
