Your payments with Resooma are set up on a direct debit and are automatically collected. If you are to miss a direct debit payment please make sure you have available funds in your account as soon as possible for the next collection.

There is nothing you would need to do right away 😊 Our system will automatically re-charge within 7 days after the first attempt has marked as failed. ❗️(Note: Our payments provider LettsPay can experience some delays in showing us that your payment has failed, please be aware you may notice your payment has failed before we do and we still need to wait for this to load on our systems)

If you miss the second attempt then a 3rd attempt will take place within 7 days after the second attempt but this will include a £10 late fee.

🤔 If your account definitely has the balance needed and you are still receiving notifications about missing your payments please review the following steps:

1 - Please check your account details in your secure bills dashboard to make sure they are 100% correct. You can go this via logging into your secure billing dashboard here.

2 - If everything is correct but you still haven't been debited then this may mean you missed the "trigger" date of your bills. The trigger date for bills remains the same each month for your house, unless you progress into further attempts of collection - this is when you miss payments and they attempt re-collection soon after its failed.

3 - Not to worry, the second attempt at collecting your direct debit is fee free and if you leave the bill amount in your bank this will be taken soon!

❗️If you have a Mandate Issue, this can refer to LettsPay taking some time to clear and authorise your direct debit. If you have completed your direct debit information in the last 3-5 days then this should roll over to completed soon and your direct debits will begin/resume.
